As part of the acquisition by Innovise plc (AIM quoted), we have now moved into larger premises in Slough.

RapidHost have made many changes over the years aimed at better serving our customers. RapidHost's founders, Iain and Sue Robertson, started RapidHost 14 years ago (then called ViviNet). Iain Roberson, founder of RapidHost recalls,

Like many successful organisations it all started in a study. Its servers were originally operated out of the dining room and a 128k leased line hosted websites, emails and databases. Jump forward 14 years, three office moves later and we are now fully integrated into and operating from Innovise plc's offices based in Slough, with professional data centres housing all our servers.- Iain Robertson, founder of RapidHost.

Although now part of a larger group, we remain a small close knit team offering personal service and a dedication to quality of support in which every customer is important no matter how small.

The move will allow us to offer a better service and we will gain from direct access to Innovise resources whilst also benefit from being directly involved in the enlarged business and the delivery of managed services. At RapidHost we know that support, be it technical, sales or accounting is critical to our customers. Now the RapidHost team have access to a much larger group of experienced staff to call upon, we can ensure that not only are issues resolved quickly but any new systems can be designed with even greater technical input than before.

In a fast moving market it is hard for a smaller hosting business; however a diverse but cohesive business like the Innovise group brings with it the stability that our customers look for in a hosting partner. Working entirely within Innovise in Slough cements this relationship.

An additional benefit of this move is that RapidHost's world class data centres are also based in Slough, the new UK hosting "hot spot". Having these on our doorstep ensures an even more rapid response when needed.
